Competitors must be 14 years old or above to battle.

Preliminary rounds will consist of freestyle performances. No battles will take place during this time.

Preliminaries are available for a maximum of 30 dancers in each style with the exception of New School which will have a maximum of 60 dancers. During the preliminaries, the top 8 performers will be selected to battle on the main stage to compete for the title. This is the ONLY time that top 8 battlers will be selected.

You can compete in more than one style. You do not need to purchase any further tickets to compete in more than one style.

All final battle competitors must be registered and in Stratford Circus by 6.30pm on Sunday 18th April. If you are not present, you will forfeit your battle place.

During the battles, there will be two rounds for each competitor in the quarter finals and semi finals, with three rounds for the finals in each style.

You may be asked for a final round from the judges if the battle was close.

JUDGES AND HOSTS DECISION IS FINAL!

Disrupting your opponents throwdown (i.e. Running onto the floor whilst they are still performing) may lead to disqualification at the discretion of the judges and host.

Battles will be judged on: Technical ability, Style content, Performance ability, Musicality & Battle tactics.
